Which one is better? Personally, I have to go with Chicago style. I've had it from there and you can't beat it.

New York style for me is way better. No pizza like it and if its not new york pizza I like it okay but don't care if I have pizza or or not when its New York style is one of my favorite foods. I miss it being in San Diego I don't get it much but everytime I go back home the first thing I have to do is get some real pizza lol.

What's the difference?

New York tends to be thinner with more cheese and very little sauce. Chicago style is much thicker, with more sauce and less cheese.

definitely New York style, but I'll eat both. Pizza is one of my favorite foods. :)

Chicago-style pizza is my favorite. If you live in California, I would highly recommend you go to B.J's in Huntington Beach. I don't live in California, but I've gone to Huntington beach on a trip with the church, and man is B.J's the best!

Since I live near Chicago, I am partial to Chicago pizza. Deep dish pizza is the best, lol.

While I might eat both types of pizza if offerred the chance, if I had to choose just one of them, I would very likely choose chicago-style pizza. I much prefer the good thick slices over the thin ones any day of the week. Give me lots of sauce and messiness!

I've heard of these sorts of pizza, but I've never really gone and sought out one sort or another. I guess if we distinguish types, we tend to go thin crust or thick crust. None of the places I get pizza from claim they make one style or another. Many times, too, I'll order non-traditional pizzas, too, like Thai chicken or chicken bacon ranch or that kind of thing.

New York style for me. To me, the Chicago style is just like eating a bunch of bread with a few toppings on it. I tried it once at Old Chicago, and didn't care for how breaddy it was.

My taste has changed; now I prefer a thin, crisp crust over a doughy one.

Well since I'm from New Jersey- I'd definitely have to go with New York style pizza. I love the thin crust... living in California- pizza isn't the same... every time I go back home, I always get pizza a few times while I'm in New York. The Chicago style pizza is good, too, but I much prefer the New York style. I'll eat both, though.
